Dumplings are a favorite noodle dish in northern China, but Xi'an has taken them to another level, with the Defachang Dumpling Banquet being a classic. At night, Defachang, bathed in dim light and flanked by red lantern towers, evokes a vibrant ambiance. A couplet at the entrance, "Feasting for literature, feasting for friends, feasting for dumplings, longing for Chang'an, Defachang," further embodies the ancient Chinese style. Each dumpling has its own shape and form, and hundreds of dumplings offer a variety of fillings and flavors, ranging from sweet to savory, with varying flavors and shapes. The dumpling wrappers are dyed with carrot or spinach juice, and the steamed dumplings are perfectly prepared, resulting in a chewy, uncomplicated experience. A visit to Xi'an is guaranteed to be even more flavorful, tangible, memorable, and memorable.

The menu might not open properly with QR codes. Ask for a menu and they'll bring it to you. The signature dumplings, chive dumplings, corn soup, and signature fried rice are all delicious.

We had a ravioli feast. Excellent quality and a generous portion. The kitchen is open and the cleanliness is impeccable.

The meatballs are incredible—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—with sweet and sour sauce, as well as the gyozas and assorted dumplings perfect for a family gathering.

Amazing experience and very convenient price. We enjoyed in a private room a great dinner with dozens of different dumplings, even the hot pot dumpling soup with an explanation in English of this dish and its meaning. The minimum charge per person in private room was aroun 180 rmb per person, including refreshment and local beers. I really recommend it
